This page explains the technologies this website can store on or read from your device, and how you control them. It is written for the current version of the website and is kept in sync with what the code actually does.
The four categories
Strictly necessary — required to deliver pages securely, protect the contact form and remember your cookie choice. These do not require your consent, because the website cannot work without them.
Preferences — optional functional storage, such as remembering the site language you picked, or enabling optional embedded content. Off until you allow it.
Analytics — aggregated measurement of how the website is used. Off until you allow it.
Marketing — advertising, remarketing, social or conversion tracking. Off until you allow it.
How to accept, reject or change your choice
On your first visit a banner asks for your choice. You can accept all optional technologies, reject all non-essential technologies, or open the preference centre and decide category by category. Rejecting takes exactly the same effort as accepting.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer, or the button on this page. Your choice is stored for six months, after which we ask again. We also ask again if the categories or this policy change.
What happens when you deny a category
Future loading of technologies in that category is blocked, and the first-party storage this website controls for that category is deleted. Where a third party has already stored a cookie in your browser, that cookie may need to be cleared using your browser settings; we cannot delete third-party storage on your behalf.
Technologies used on this website
The table below lists what is present in the current version of the website. Google Analytics 4 is the only optional technology in the code, and it is loaded only after you allow analytics.
No tag manager, advertising pixel, session-replay tool, chat widget, booking widget, map or video embed is present. Google Fonts stylesheets are requested to render the website's typefaces; they are part of page delivery and do not set cookies or identifiers on this site.
Marketing technologies
DirectBalkan currently does not use optional marketing technologies on this website. If that changes, this policy and the preference centre will list them before they can load.
